While there are many “Green” programs, the NAHB National Green Build Program is the only program that has been certified by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).  The Green Build Kentucky Program now requires a home to be certified at a minimum of Bronze level. Spille Builders is the leader in this area by building the first Green Build KY home in Northern Kentucky as well as the first National Green Build Standard home in Kentucky. These programs help conserve our resources and make the homes more durable and healthier.  They also require qualification under the ENERGY STAR® Program. The programs are based on points, testing, inspections and third party verification

     In addition, these homes may qualify for an Energy Efficient Mortgage, allowing the lender to increase your income numbers by an amount equal to the estimated energy savings.
